Synopsis

August 15, 2021. The Taliban enter Kabul and take the city. Michael Le Guen, a RAID officer in charge of the security of the French Embassy, refuses to be evacuated with the diplomatic staff and risks his life to save an Afghan girl of about ten whose parents have been murdered.

Together with Ziar, an experienced fixer, they undertake a long and perilous journey north to reach Uzbekistan.
